I became interested in photography a few years ago. The reason was that I couldn’t paint and was looking for some way to show the world with my eyes. Over time, it became a passion for me and, as I expected, it allowed me to present the world as I perceive it.
I deal with digital and analog photography, but the latter is what gives me the greatest pleasure and it is mainly the effects of working with an analog that I would like to present on this website. The possibility of creating an image from scratch, by setting the frame, pressing the shutter button, until it is fixed on photographic paper, adds, in my opinion, the value of photography and makes the resulting prints fully „mine”. In addition, analog photography requires greater precision, concentration and patience, because there are never two the same negatives or prints, and the effects of the work can be seen only after developing the film. In addition, the print on the baryta paper has a unique structure and depth.
When it comes to the subject matter, I love to find symmetry in both nature and architecture, which is why you can often see it in my photographs. Moreover, I am interested in industrial and portrait photography. Most of my work is in black and white. Despite the access to many techniques, I consider black and white photographs to be the most beautiful, extremely demanding and allowing the recipient to focus not only on the form itself, but also on the message they conceal.
